Keeping It Close
Our guidelines have always been the same – simply make good stuff close to home. We are a small Canadian company previously based in Vancouver and now out of Toronto. Value, ethics, and corporate responsibility all play a pivotal part in our ongoing growth and development. From the start we’ve been focused on keeping our production in Canada both to ensure the fair treatment of people and to maintain the highest product quality. All design and manufacturing is proudly and locally made in Toronto and 100% sweatshop-free. Garments are crafted in small batches.
Comfort is key so we are driven by the feel and quality of fabric. Significant care is given in the sourcing of reputable long standing Canadian and US suppliers. Our performance fabrics are treated with a 100% natural, anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal agent. The treatment is approved by the EPA (E.P.A.:81446-1) to be safe for the environment as well as safe for the consumer. It is bio-degradable and sustainable.
Usable excess fabric is donated to local fashion schools and art programs. All other fabric off-cuts are given to textile reclamation and recycling companies who either re-purpose it or make it available to local communities.
